Who we are
This site is run by Wises Innovation LLC, trading as WisesBio, a contract manufacturer of cosmetics and personal care products. Wises Innovation LLC is the controller of the personal data described here. For any question about your data, write to [email protected].
Page visits
When you open a page, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) passes us your IP address, the page you opened, the time, the referring site, your browser's user agent, and the country, city and network that Cloudflare derives from the IP address. We keep these records for three months; they are then deleted automatically.
We use them to keep the site secure and to understand which businesses are interested in our services. For visits from company networks, we may look up the organisation that an IP address belongs to (using an IP-to-company database) and record that a company viewed certain pages. We do not try to identify individual people from page visits, we do not sell these records, and we do not use them for advertising.
Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure website and in finding business customers (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Statistics
We count page views and a few events (such as a sent inquiry) with OpenPanel, which we host ourselves. It sets no cookies and does not store your IP address; it keeps an anonymous visitor number, the country and city, and the pages viewed.
Heatmaps and session recordings
Only if you accept in the consent bar, we load Microsoft Clarity, which records how pages are used (clicks, scrolling) with everything you type hidden, and sets cookies. If you decline, Clarity is not loaded. You can change your choice by clearing this site's data in your browser. Microsoft's own privacy statement applies to the data Clarity processes.
Inquiries and chat
When you send an inquiry or use the chat, we store what you wrote, the contact details you gave, the time, and your IP address with its country and network. We use this to answer you, to follow up on your project, and to protect the form against abuse. Inquiries are kept for as long as we have a business relationship with you or might reasonably have one, and are deleted on request unless we must keep them by law.
Who else processes the data
Cloudflare (hosting, security and visit records), Microsoft (Clarity, only after consent), and an IP-to-company data provider for company lookups. Some of these providers process data outside your country, including in the United States.
Your rights
You may ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to our use of it, or complain to your local data protection authority. Write to [email protected]; we answer within one month.
